Welcome to Realms VR, located at Basepoint, Crowborough, East Sussex, TN6 1DH. By booking and participating in our virtual reality escape room experiences, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking. 1. General Terms
1.1. Realms VR provides virtual reality escape room experiences for entertainment purposes only.
1.2. All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed via email upon receipt of payment.
1.3. By making a booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
1.4. We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated via our website.
2. Booking and Payment
2.1. Bookings must be made in advance through our website or by contacting us directly.
2.2. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your session.
2.3. Prices are displayed on our website and are subject to change.
2.4. We accept payments via credit/debit card and other payment methods specified at checkout.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
3.1. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the booked session will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
3.2. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session are non-refundable. However, we may offer a reschedule at our discretion.
3.3. No-shows or late arrivals (over 15 minutes) will forfeit their booking without refund.
3.4. If Realms VR needs to cancel or reschedule a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, customers will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.
4. Participant Requirements
4.1. The experience is suitable for participants aged 12 and above, with parental consent required for under 16s.
4.2. Participants must arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time for a briefing.
4.3. Intoxicated individuals or those under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to participate, and no refund will be provided. 4.4. Participants with medical conditions (e.g., epilepsy, heart conditions, motion sickness) must consult their doctor before booking.
5. Health and Safety
5.1. Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by our staff before and during the experience.
5.2. VR headsets and equipment must be used with care. Failure to follow instructions may result in injury or ejection from the experience. 5.3. Participants must wear appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for movement within the game environment.
5.4. In case of discomfort or dizziness during the experience, participants should notify a staff member immediately.
6. Liability and Responsibility
6.1. Realms VR is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damage caused by improper use of the equipment or failure to follow safety instructions.
6.2. Personal belongings brought onto the premises are the responsibility of the participant. We are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage. 6.3. Participation is at the individual's own risk. Participants will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to the session.
7. Accessibility
7.1. Our venue is accessible to wheelchair users; however, certain game elements may rely on height or motion that could be challenging. 7.2. We recommend contacting us in advance to discuss any specific accessibility needs.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
8.1. Personal data provided during booking will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information.
8.2. CCTV monitoring is in place for security and safety purposes.
8.3. We may use photos or videos taken during sessions for promotional purposes with participants' consent.
9. Gift Vouchers and Promotions
9.1. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and cannot be exchanged for cash.
9.2. Discount codes and promotions cannot be combined with other offers unless specified.
9.3. Realms VR reserves the right to modify or withdraw promotions without prior notice.
10. Conduct and Behaviour
10.1. Participants must conduct themselves respectfully and follow staff instructions at all times.
10.2. Aggressive, abusive, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal without a refund.
10.3. Any damage to property caused by negligence or misuse may result in additional charges.
11. Intellectual Property
11.1. All VR content, software, and experiences provided by Realms VR are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws and are a product of VRCAVE.
11.2. Participants may not record, distribute, or reproduce any part of the experience without prior written consent.
12. Force Majeure
12.1. We are not responsible for any failure to provide services due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, technical failures, or government regulations.
